Don't Be Like Alexander

Written by Wes Schaeffer | October 18, 2021

From today’s reading...

Alexander the coppersmith has done me a lot of harm; the Lord will repay him as his deeds deserve.” 2 Timothy 4:14

Paul is in jail in Rome.

This is believed to be the last epistle he wrote before being martyred for “The Way.”

Like all men, he realizes he forgot some things and asks Timothy to visit and bring those items with him, but then he drops this little nugget.

You can be anything you want in this life.

You can be like Paul.

You can be like Timothy.

Don’t be like Alexander.

Help—do not oppose or hinder—those you meet on this journey to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
