You Are Filled With Extortion

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | October 11, 2022

From today’s reading...

But the Lord said to him, ‘You Pharisees! You clean the outside of cup and plate, while inside yourselves you are filled with extortion and wickedness.’” Luke 11:39

Sound familiar?

I know some politicians who ate out at private restaurants while he closed others.

I know some politicians who attended sporting events with no masks while requiring their citizens to social distance and wear masks.

I even saw a pastor on the altar with a drag queen engaging with two small children on the altar and masked as he tried to use the Gospels to tell the children and his congregation why we should be open-minded and accepting of that type of depravity.

Heck, now that I think about it, the outside of their cups isn’t even clean.

These wicked people are flaunting their depravity, avarice, and greed out in the open for all the world to see, and they are emboldened after 2.5 years to accelerate their assault on us.

It’s time to take a stand.

It’s time to call evil, evil.

It’s time to call these extortioners what they are and say “no more,” which is the only way to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
