Today we celebrate the Epiphany of the Lord.

In Western Christianity, the feast commemorates principally (but not solely) the visit of the Magi to the Christ Child, and thus Jesus Christ's physical manifestation to the Gentiles.”
In today’s Gospel reading from Matthew 2, we read of the Magi who, because they lifted up their eyes, looked around, saw the star, and followed it, were among the first people in the world to find and worship Jesus.
