They Were Like Sheep Without a Shepherd

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | January 4, 2022

From today’s reading...

So as he stepped ashore he saw a large crowd; and he took pity on them because they were like sheep without a shepherd, and he set himself to teach them at some length.” Mark 6:34

Nothing has changed since Jesus lived this, and Mark wrote about it.

Most of us are walking around without a clue or, worse, think we know it all and don’t hesitate to tell everyone we meet everything they are doing wrong and how to be perfect…like them.

However, at least these “five thousand men” (v44) had the good sense to sit, listen, and learn from Jesus.

You and I can learn a lot from their example.

Seek Jesus.

Listen to Jesus.

Learn from Jesus.

Follow Jesus.

It’s the only way to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
