All Nations Praise Him!

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | January 25, 2022

From today’s reading...

Alleluia! Praise Yahweh, all nations, extol him, all peoples, for his faithful love is strong and his constancy never-ending.” Psalm 117:1-2

You just read an entire chapter of the Bible.

This is all of Psalm 117.

It is 2,500 to 2,900 years old in written form, which means it is 3,000 to 5,000 years old—or older—in oral form.

It fits in nicely with the theme of today’s reading, which is that God’s Word, love, and salvation are for the entire world.

We see it today in Saul/Paul’s conversion story from Acts 22 as well as in Mark 16 today where Jesus “said to them, ‘Go out to the whole world; proclaim the gospel to all creation.’” (Mark 15:15)

God created everything and everyone, even Marines…and Alabama fans…and people who put Miracle Whip on their sandwiches.

God loves all of us.

And He sent His only Son to show us how to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
