As we read yesterday, Paul is driving home the point that Jesus is the One for whom they have waited.
Paul is reminding them of how Melchizedek pointed to Jesus, while explaining how Jesus, while priest, is far above the priests that came before Him, and how this difference is what makes His sacrifice perfect, final, complete.
Every day in the Mass, you are offered His perfect, final, complete sacrifice.
