Accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior does not mean a magic unicorn rides a rainbow to your front door carrying gold, diamonds, and endless supplies of PBR.
Quite often it means you get a front row seat in the hurt locker.
You see, following Jesus doesn’t bring the absence of pain and suffering.
It helps you derive meaning from it.
