Make Not Your Heart Wicked

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | January 12, 2023

From today’s reading...

Take care, brothers, that none of you ever has a wicked heart, so unbelieving as to turn away from the living God.” Hebrews 3:12

Strong words. It is “wicked” to turn away from God, yet we do it every day.

Paul reminds us in Romans 3 that we all fall short. So how do you reconcile yourself to God and become “un-wicked”?

Were you truly saved once and for all a week or a year or a decade or 50 years ago, or have you fallen short once or twice since then? Without the sacraments, how do you make amends?

Even with the sacraments, you must...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Market like you mean it. Now go sell something.
